Uniting and Inspiring Women

  • Visit me at spiral-gate.blogspot.com

I'm still blogging at my personal site. Come visit me there!
  • Welcome to Fourth Wave Feminist!

FWF's goal is uniting and inspiring women to come together through what we have in common. FWF is bipartisan and international. We welcome posters sharing their view of women's lifes and realities.

We do not censor the free flow of ideas, but we do ask you to keep an open mind. Be positive and accepting, and hold space for our differences.

Feminism must expand to include all women, and can no longer afford to be defined by divisive issues, political parties, or religious beliefs.

We need you and we are glad you are here

What is this?

Posted by janisstrope on November 11, 2008

gathering-endOn November 11, 2008, this blog is being launched as a place for women to gather and share our experiences. Our focus is on Feminism – which we define as uniting and supporting women, with the goal of improving the quality of life for women and increasing our representation in every area, from politics to sports to culture.

Women are the majority but we still have minority status. Please read the “About” page for more information. If you feel called to post here on your own life experiences, and you are a woman, you are welcome to register as a guest writer.

Thanks for starting this place! I’m so worn out from the election, and all the ugliness… It’s so discouraging to see women treated so badly, and nobody seems to care. Half of the peole out there are convinced there was no sexism at all! And female journalists are right there saying, that’s right, those handwringers are making it up. *I* didn’t feel marginalized…

Revolutions come when enough people get tired of the status quo. Viva la Revolution!

Great idea! As a young woman, I thought all that Feminist stuff was already achieved back in the 80s… Wow was I wrong! I guess women of my age need to get involved, eh?
